Event Format
Wood You Rather is a checkpoint run event with no preset course. Participants receive a map at the start of the race with the checkpoints highlighted. They must decide their own route and the order in which to reach each checkpoint within the allotted time.
Course Details
The running distance and elevation depend entirely on the routes participants choose. Distances are generally between 5 and 8+ miles with 800-1000+ feet of elevation gain.
Participation
Participants can enter as a solo runner or as part of a team. Teams must have a minimum of three people and a maximum of six. Team members can choose to run the course together or independently. The team's official time is the average of all team members' finishing times.

The event takes place on Saturday, May 16, at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland. Participants must finish within two hours, with a final cutoff time for the finish line.
