Format and logistics
The event is a checkpoint run. Runners receive a map at the start with checkpoints marked and have two hours to visit as many checkpoints as possible and return before the course closes. Winners are determined first by the number of checkpoints collected and then by time. Depending on route choices, participants can expect to cover around 5-8+ miles; an 8-mile option is listed. Entrants may compete individually or as a team. Team sizes allowed are 3, 4, 5, or 6 people; team standings use the average of all team members' times. The event map is simple and a compass is optional. Coffee, donuts, and a finisher mug are available at the finish. The cancellation policy offers a 50% credit toward a future Go Beyond Racing event if cancellation is more than 30 days before the race; cancellations within 30 days do not receive credit, refund, or transfer.
