Event Overview

The 2026 Happy Valley Fun Run and Walk is the 47th annual edition of this community event. It is organized to raise funds for Happy Valley Elementary School.

Distances

The event features three separate activities:

Kids Dash: A non-timed dash for participants aged 11 and under. It includes a medal, bib, and a free carnival ticket.
5K: A chip-timed run or walk.
10K: A chip-timed run or walk.

Location and Course

All events start and finish at Happy Valley Elementary School in Happy Valley, Oregon. The course uses full sidewalks. The 5K is one lap, and the 10K is two laps of the same professionally measured route. The 10K race records a 5K split time.

Additional Information

Strollers are welcome on the course. Leashed dogs are permitted on school grounds, provided owners clean up after them. An early bib pickup is available on the Friday before the race at the school.
