Lacing Up Against Domestic Violence 5K Run & Walk
Atlanta Victim Assistance, Inc. organizes the third annual Lacing Up Against Domestic Violence 5K Run & Walk on 10/11/2026 at 625 Park Ave SE, Atlanta, GA. The event is held in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month to honor survivors, raise awareness, and promote healing. The event is presented in partnership with the Atlanta Police Department Domestic Violence Unit.
The event format includes a community 5K run and walk using a doubled loop course inside Grant Park; participants complete the route twice to finish the full course. There are two listed entries: a general 3rd Annual 5K Run & Walk open to ages 99 and under with a registration fee of $30.00, and a youth 3rd Annual 5K Run & Walk for ages 7 to 17 with a registration fee of $25.00. Race day includes check-in, the 5K race, and a closing ceremony with awards. Award divisions for the 5K are top three male, top three female, and top three youth.
