Long Beach Labor Day Run - Labor of Love
The event takes place on Labor Day, September 6, at Shoreline Aquatic Park and Shoreline Village, 200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802. The course follows the Long Beach waterfront and a paved beach running and walking path.
Distances offered
- Kids Dash : 400 yards
- 5K : 3.1 miles
- 10K : 6.2 miles
- Virtual 5K and 10K option
Race services and on-course features include professional ChronoTrack chip timing, instant race results, multiple water stations, course markings and turnaround signs, and course staff. The course is described as flat and scenic and remains open to the public during the event; participants should be aware of other path users.
Participant amenities listed by the organizer include a custom finisher medal, race shirts, free race day photos, music and a finish-line atmosphere with vendors. Participant parking is available in a parking structure.
Award procedures are specified: trophies are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K by gun time; age group medals are awarded in 10-year divisions based on chip time. Awards must be picked up during the event; no awards will be mailed after the event.
