Run in the New Year 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon : Long Beach, CA
The event takes place at 5400 E Ocean Blvd in Long Beach with the start and finish located at the blue arch. The course is marked with cones, chalk, and signs at each turnaround. Running and walking with a stroller is allowed. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit; arrangements for additional time are managed by the organizer.
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos, free photos located by bib number, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, live results at finish, an Ascend Index ranking, and access to an event tracking app from the organizer. An assortment of snacks and samples is provided. The organizer describes the experience as friendly, relaxed, and personal, and notes that group discounts are offered for multiple registrants.
