Hot Pursuit 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
A Better World Running presents the Hot Pursuit 5k, 10k, 15k and Half Marathon on September 26, 2026 at the Long Beach Shoreline Path, 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA. The course is an open beach-path route; participants should be courteous to pedestrians, cyclists and other users of the path.
The course uses marked out-and-back loops on the beach path.
- 5k out-and-back on the beach path
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station at the turnaround/start-finish supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups and gel packets. The half marathon has a 3 hour 15 minute time limit.
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos linked to bibs, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, an event app for tracking races and media, and an assortment of snacks and samples. Age group awards are available for pickup at the event only. Group discounts are available for multiple participants and volunteering can earn a complimentary race entry.
