Hot Pursuit 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
The Hot Pursuit event in Long Beach on September 26, 2026, offers timed races on the Long Beach Shoreline Path in Belmont Shores. The course uses marked out-and-back loops on the beach path and is shared with pedestrians, runners, and cyclists; participants are asked to be courteous to others.
Distances offered:
- 5k out-and-back on the beach path.
- 10k two 5k loops.
- 15k three 5k loops.
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops.
An aid station at the turnaround near the start/finish provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, live results at finish, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges for milestones, and access to an event app and Ascend Index features. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only.
The event notes a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon and a no refund policy; transfers are allowed only by contacting the organizer. Race day registration is available with multiple payment methods; posted race day fees are $35 for the 5k, $40 for the 10k, $45 for the 15k, and $50 for the half marathon.
