Hot Pursuit 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
The Hot Pursuit event on September 26, 2026 takes place on the Long Beach shoreline path near 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course is an open beach path; runners should be courteous to pedestrians, cyclists, and other users. The route uses marked out-and-back loops that are easy to follow.
An aid station is located at the turnaround at the start/finish and supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The course layouts described by the organizer are:
- 5k out-and-back route
- 10k two 5k loops
- 15k three 5k loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos, live results at finish, free race photos tied to bibs, cinematic highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and app, plus assorted snacks and samples.
Race day registration accepts credit card, cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal with listed fees of 5k $35, 10k $40, 15k $45, and half marathon $50. Group discounts apply for three or more participants. Transfers are permitted through the organizer; there is a no refund policy. A 3 hour 15 minute time limit applies to the half marathon and special arrangements may be requested from the organizer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
