AGBU Global Run - Greater Los Angeles Area

AGBU Western Region is organizing a local team event for the AGBU Global Run to raise funds for Camp Nairi. The event is scheduled for September 20 at Griffith Park, corner of Griffith Park Dr. and Crystal Springs Dr. It offers both a walk and a run option and registered participants will receive additional event information closer to the date.

The campaign supports Camp Nairi, which provides free sleep-away camp experiences and family programs for children in Armenia who were displaced by conflict or who lost parents due to war. Camp programming includes therapeutic sessions and recreational activities, weekend family retreats, and access to mental health professionals, including art and music therapy. For 2026, AGBU aims to reach up to 800 children through summer camps and 720–800 children plus 400–450 mothers through family programs.

Team fundraising information is published for transparency. The team goal is $15,000 and current team donations total $1,025 from 21 donors, representing 6.83% of the target.
