Beach Fun 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon
This event takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd in Belmont Shores, Long Beach, CA. The course is an open, marked route on the beach path and consists of out-and-back loops; participants are asked to be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
An aid station at the turnaround near the start and finish supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. The organizer lists the following course formats and distances:
- 5 km out-and-back on the beach path
- 10 km two 5 km loops
- 15 km three 5 km loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free videos and photos linked to bibs, live results at finish, cinematic race highlight reels, trophies and achievement badges, an Ascend Index ranking and app features, plus an assortment of snacks. There is a 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon; longer times require prior arrangement with the organizer. Group discounts are available for multiple participants and some discounts are applied automatically through Race Ascend.
Race day registration accepts multiple payment methods. Parking is free in nearby residential areas; beach lot parking is paid by ticket machine or parking app zone 9372.
