Beach Fun 5k 10k 15k Half Marathon - Long Beach
The Beach Fun event on September 13, 2026 features multiple distance options along the Long Beach Shoreline Path at 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803. The course is an open beach path and consists of marked out and back loops; participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
Distances offered:
- 5K out and back route
- 10K two 5K loops
- 15K three 5K loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
An aid station is located at the turnaround near the start and finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, drawstring goodie bag, free photos and videos, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges as milestones are reached, an Ascend Index ranking, and a free event app to track races, photos, and videos. An assortment of snacks and samples is available on site.
There is a stated 3 hour 15 minute time limit for the half marathon. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race and will not be mailed. Race day registration is available with on-site payment options; race day fees are listed for each distance. Transfers and refunds are governed by the organizer and the event has a no refund policy.
