La Vista Loop One Mile Fun Run
The La Vista Loop One Mile Fun Run is a timed, community running event held in La Vista, Nebraska, at The Nines Plaza and Central Park on Saturday, September 12. The course distance is 1 mile and participants are timed for overall and age group placings.
Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers and to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age category. Age categories are 0–5, 6–11, 12–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 plus.
Family friendly activities are scheduled for the morning and include a bounce house, sno cones, a coffee truck, chalk art, and access to the Nines Plaza slides. Strollers and well behaved dogs on leashes are permitted at the event.
Registration options include participation with a commemorative T shirt for a stated fee and a lower fee without a T shirt; the listed costs are $15 with T shirt and $5 without. A T shirt request deadline is given as August 27 and a registration deadline is listed as September 11. Packet pick up is available at the Community Center the day before the race and on race morning at Nines Plaza.
