About the race
The Heartland Pride Fun Run/Walk is a non-competitive community event held on September 12, 2026, at Peak Performance, 519 N 78th Street, Omaha, NE 68114. It offers running and walking distances for adults and children and is timed without chip timing. Distances: - 5K fun run/walk - 2K fun walk - Kids 5K fun run/walk (ages 5 to 12) - Kids 2K fun walk (ages 5 to 12) The course follows the Keystone Trail and is described as flat and fast. Event shirts are available, with children's shirts in youth sizes. Pricing is based on age on 9/12/26: youth ages 5 to 21 are listed at $20.00 and participants aged 22 and above are listed at $30.00.
Team awards are given to the top three teams with the most registered participants. The event is sponsored by Omaha Front Runners/Walkers and is presented as a celebration of the Heartland's LGBTQ community. Participation is described as open to the community.
