Rally for Life - 5K run/walk
The 2026 Rally for Life is a 5K run/walk to support organ, tissue and eye donation. It brings together donor families, recipients, living donors and donation supporters to raise awareness for the roughly 100,000 Americans waiting for a lifesaving transplant. The event takes place at Werner Park in Papillion, NE.
The event offers a family-friendly atmosphere with free kids' activities in the Werner Park Family Fun Zone. Registered participants receive a Rally for Life event t-shirt, race timing for all 5K participants, and post-run/walk snacks and drinks. Timed participants are eligible for individual awards.
Entries may be individual or team based; prizes are awarded for the largest and fastest teams. Registration fees vary by date: April 1 to April 30 the fee is $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under; May 1 to September 10 the fee is $30 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under; day-of event fees are $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under.
Hero signs (custom-printed 18"x24") can be purchased during registration and include the Rally for Life logo, a name and photo, and a short personalized message up to 75 characters. Personalized donor or recipient buttons are also available. Packet pickup is available before the event at Live On Nebraska in Omaha and on the day of the event at Werner Park.
Awards include overall top three male and female, age-group awards, top recipient and living donor categories, fastest team, largest team, and a best t-shirt award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
