KRRA Limestone Mile - Canada Day

The KRRA Limestone Mile takes place on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at the Kingston Memorial Centre Track. The event is organized by the Kingston Road Runners Association and supports the association's charitable causes. This edition is dedicated to the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund and event proceeds support that fund.

The mile races are held on the Kingston Memorial Centre track, a site described as free of traffic issues with improved spectator views and ample parking. The program includes children's races and a one mile walk where strollers are permitted.

Awards include Gold, Silver and Bronze KRRA medals for the top three individuals in Men’s, Women’s, Boys and Girls categories. All children who race receive ribbons. Volunteer opportunities include high school volunteer hours for those who help during the day.

Registration is open and there is no race day registration. Entry fees are listed as Adults $40 with a $5 discount for KRRA members, Kids' Mile $10, and Mile Walk $10. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
