Races and Events
The Wolfe Island Classic offers a 5k race and a 10k race. There is also a Kids' Mile race and a free 200-metre Kiddie Fun Run for young children. The event takes place on Wolfe Island, Ontario.
The start and finish are in Marysville. After the race, participants can wade or swim immediately after finishing.
Registration and Fees
Individual entry fees for 2025 were $35 for the 5k and $40 for the 10k at the early bird rate. The regular rate was $45 for both distances. A $5 discount was available for KRRA members. Registration for the Kids' Mile was $10.
Tech t-shirts were available for $25. Lunch could be pre-purchased during registration, with various options from local vendors.
Organisation and Logistics
Proceeds from the event are donated to the Wolfe Island Community Medical Clinic.
Participants are advised to leave their car in Kingston and take the ferry to Wolfe Island. Ferries depart Kingston at 5:40am, 7:00am, and 8:20am. Return ferries from Wolfe Island to Kingston are at 11:40am, 1:00pm, and 2:20pm.
The event is part of the KRRA Race Series. Only the 5k race earns points for KRRA members. The 5k is also the second event in the "Waterside Series". Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
