K-Town Triathlon and Duathlon
K-Town is a multi-discipline event held at CFB Kingston, founded in 1984 and described as one of the oldest triathlons in Canada. The 2026 edition adds Sprint and Olympic distances and retains the Enduro option that combines both races.
Distances offered:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
- Enduro Triathlon: Sprint then Olympic combined (total 77.25 km)
- Sprint Duathlon: 2.5 km run, 20 km bike, 5 km run
The swim is described as calm with water temperatures around 22–24°C. The bike course uses shared roads and runs toward Gananoque with rolling terrain. The run passes the Barriefield Rock Garden and follows the quiet roads of the base. The event also references the local historic Kingston area for post-race activity.
Registration benefits include a virtual bike fit, event swim cap, personalized bib, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers, post-race snacks, and a food truck on site for purchases. Finisher medals are optional. Shirt and medal order deadlines and an online registration deadline are specified. Bib pickup takes place at 1 Navy Way, Kingston.
