Knights IceBreaker 5k
The Canandaigua Knights Youth Hockey Organization holds the 3rd Annual IceBreaker and the 2nd Annual 5K Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event uses the Greater Canandaigua Civic Center as the start and finish location, at 250 N Bloomfield Rd, Canandaigua, NY 14424.
The course travels from the Civic Center through Outhouse Park, across to Baker Park, and returns to the Civic Center. The distance is 5K (3.1 miles).
Registration information includes a fee of $30.00 and a registration window that opens on July 20, 2026 and closes on September 11, 2026. Swag bags are limited to the first 75 registrants. Age-group awards are given for first through third place.
Participant amenities include Knights merchandise, a race bib, snacks, and access to post-event food options including Busy Bee's and other area food trucks as well as the GCCC snack bar. A free IceBreaker celebration follows the run with open skating, bounce houses, street hockey and shooting challenges, live music, and guest appearances by local hockey teams such as Heron Hockey, CA Hockey, and the Hobart Hockey team.
