The 0 Degree Winter Trail Festival takes place at Powder Mills Park with Wadhams Lodge as the event home base. The event offers running options of 5 miles, 10 miles, and 15 miles on trails in Pittsford, NY. Registration has a set fee and a participant limit.
The course is a single roughly 5 mile loop on single track that can be run one, two, or three times to make the chosen distance. The organizer notes that loop distances may not measure exactly five miles. The event is organized as a fundraiser to support trail projects.
Hydration for participants is refill only. Runners are required to carry their own hydration systems on course because cups are not provided at refill stations. Race swag includes a custom mug for post-race hot chocolate for the first group of registrants. A fund provides free entry for a number of runners in the 5 mile option.
