2027 Kiss My Asphalt 5k, 10k, & 1M
The event takes place on February 14, 2027, at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg and runs alongside the Rappahannock River. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Kids, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Winter Series.

- 5 km out-and-back on a paved path
- 10 km two laps of the 5 km course
The course uses paved park paths and includes a few small hills. The 5k is an out-and-back route; the 10k repeats the 5k course twice. Water stations are placed along the courses - five stations roughly at mile markers 1, 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, and 5.2 for the 10k, and two stations for the 5k at about miles 1 and 2.1. Gatorade may be available at some stations. Restrooms are near the parking lot and parking is available inside the park.
The event provides a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual run option is available. Walkers and strollers are welcome. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. Shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before February 3; extra shirts are first come first served.
The race benefits Bobbie’s Pit Bull Rescue and Sanctuary, a registered non-profit volunteer organization funded by donations. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place in standard age categories; top three overall finishers are not eligible for age group awards.
