Kiski Area Shamrock Run 5K, Apollo PA
The Kiski Area Shamrock Run 5K is a community race held in Apollo, Pennsylvania in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. The event in 2026 is the eighth edition and serves as a benefit race and walk to support the Kiski Area junior varsity and varsity track and field teams. The race starts and finishes at Kunkle Park.
The on-site 5K is a certified out and back loop on a country road with slight elevations. The on-site race will be digitally timed by Miles for Smiles and is open to runners and walkers of all ages. There is also a Virtual 5K that participants may complete anywhere; the virtual event is self timed and does not offer race awards.
Event T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by March 1. Packet pick up is available on race day at Kunkle Park, and early packet pick up is offered the Thursday before the race at Kiski Area Upper Elementary in Apollo.
