Kiski Valley Turkey Trot
The Kiski Valley Turkey Trot is a community running event held on November 26, 2026, at Kunkle Park, 285 Pine Run Church Road, Apollo PA 15613. The event offers an in-person 5K on a certified out-and-back course that is digitally timed by Miles for Smiles, and a 1 Mile fun run held within the park that is not timed.
Distances offered include:
- 5K on a certified out-and-back course, digitally timed
- 1 Mile fun run within the park, untimed
Race awards are presented at a closing ceremony; recipients must be present to receive awards. Regular event T-shirts and premium hoody sweatshirts are guaranteed for participants registered by midnight on November 15, 2026. Packet pickup is available the evening before the event and on race morning. Snacks and water are provided on site.
Registration opens August 30, 2026 and closes November 24, 2026. Registration fees vary by option and include both T-shirt and hoody choices; all registrations are non-refundable. The organizer notes the event is a charity event and reserves the right to move some or all on-site registrants to a virtual race if CDC or Pennsylvania guidelines restrict the number of runners allowed. Participants moved to virtual status will still receive their shirt and remain eligible for virtual contests. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
