Armstrong County Turkey Trot
The Armstrong County Turkey Trot is a multi-day community running event held in Kittanning, Pennsylvania at 1150 N. Water St. It is organized by Miles of Smiles Timing Service in cooperation with the Richard G Snyder YMCA and includes both in-person and virtual race options across several distances.
The event program includes the following distances:
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 5K 5 kilometers
- Kids race 100 meters
- Virtual Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- Virtual 5K 5 kilometers
Registration opens 04/30/2026 for the listed events. Most race registrations close 08/31/2026; registration for the kids race remains open through the day of the event on 11/22/2026. Published registration fees are $40 for the Half Marathon, $25 for the 5K, $40 for the Virtual Half Marathon, $25 for the Virtual 5K, and no fee for the kids race.
Awards and event services are specified for participants. All finishers receive a turkey medal. The Half Marathon offers a $50 cash prize for overall male and female winners, and there are age group awards for the Half Marathon and the 5K.
