Event overview
The Killin 10K & 5K takes place in Killin, Perthshire on Sat 22nd Aug 2026. The routes pass waterfalls and Loch Tay and use Breadalbane Park as the event hub. The organiser offers a fun run in addition to the main races.
Practical details
Distances and entry fees:
- 10K : entry fee £26; age 15+
- 5K : entry fee £19; age 12+
- Fun Run (1K) : entry fee £7; age 5 to 12
All 10K and 5K participants receive a medal, electronic chip timing, water at the finish and medical provision along the route. Chip timing is integrated with race numbers and is posted to participants about two weeks before the event; late registrants collect chips on race day. There is no course cut-off time; participants will be withdrawn only for health or safety reasons.
Route and aid:
- 10K water stations at 2.75 km, 5.75 km and 8.85 km; 5K water station at 2.4 km.
- 10K route comprises 9.7 km tarmac and 0.3 km grass/compacted path.
- 5K route comprises 4 km tarmac and 1 km grass/compacted path. Road shoes are recommended.
Facilities include free car parking, toilets, changing rooms, showers, baggage drop and catering in McLaren Hall. Prize eligibility is subject to minimum entry numbers in each gender and age category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
