Killin 10K & 5K : Killin, Perthshire, 22 August 2026
Killin 10K & 5K is a community road running event in Killin, Perthshire, featuring scenic views including waterfalls and Loch Tay. The programme comprises a 10K, 5K and a short fun run for children.
Distances
- 10K: entry fee £27, minimum age 15
- 5K: entry fee £19, minimum age 12
- Fun run: entry fee £7, age 5 to 12
Entries for the 10K and 5K use electronic chip timing with integrated race numbers; chips are posted to most participants around two weeks before the event. All finishers receive a medal. Water is provided at three points on the 10K and at one point on the 5K. Routes are fully marked with large yellow signs and supported by marshals and medical staff.
Surface details are given: the 10K is mostly on tarmac with a short grass or compacted path section, and the 5K includes both tarmac and grass or compacted path; road shoes are recommended. There is no general cut-off time; participants will only be asked to stop if safety or health is at risk.
Facilities include free parking near the start and finish, toilets, changing rooms, showers, baggage drop and first aid. Catering, tea and baking are available in McLaren Hall.
