Killin 10K & 5K
Killin 10K & 5K takes place in Killin, Perthshire, near Loch Tay and local waterfalls. The event offers scenic views and has run annually since 2011.
Distances
- 10K: Chip timed, predominantly tarmac and compacted path.
- 5K: Mixed tarmac and compacted path sections.
- 1K: Untimed fun run for children.
Entry fees are listed from £28 for the 10K, £19 for the 5K and £7 for the 1K, with prices increasing at two set points before the event. Age limits apply: 10K 15+, 5K 12+, 1K 5+ (children under 5 may run with an adult).
Entries include a medal for all finishers, electronic chip timing for the 10K, water at the finish, medical cover along the route, race hydration from Active Root and free access to event photos. On-site facilities include car parking, toilets, changing rooms, baggage drop and catering in McLaren Hall with proceeds to local charities.
Route and safety information: the course is fully marked with large yellow and blue signs, marshals and medical staff are positioned at key points. Water stops are provided: three for the 10K and one for the 5K at specified kilometres. There is no general cut-off time; participants will only be withdrawn for health or safety reasons.
Prizes include medals for all, category prizes with minimum entry requirements, age-group prizes in the 10K and a team trophy for six-person teams.
Deferral, transfer and refund policy: deferrals and refunds are allowed up to one month before the event with conditions; transfers are permitted up to one week before the event and refunds incur a 10% administration fee. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
