Bridge of Orchy 10K 2026

The Bridge of Orchy 10k is a multi-terrain race held on 1st November 2026. This is the fifth running of the event. The course for 2026 follows the usual route but in the opposite direction to previous years.

The race starts with a relatively flat road section that runs past Loch Tulla on the right and opens up to the hills of the Black Mount Estate. Runners pass the Inveroran Hotel and head to the Victoria Car Park turning point. The route returns toward the Inveroran Hotel, then takes a sharp right onto the trail section of the West Highland Way and climbs before a final 2 km descent. The finish line is reached after crossing the Bridge of Orchy, with views of Beinn Achaladair, Beinn an Dothaidh and Beinn Dorain.

Entry information includes a race fee of £20 or £23 plus a booking fee. The event is electronically chip timed and results are available immediately on crossing the finish line. A 50% refund, minus the booking fee, is available if entry is cancelled more than six weeks before the race; no refunds are issued after that cut off except in exceptional circumstances. The minimum age is 17 years on race day. The event is a ScottishAthletics licensed race and entry is limited to 125 runners with a wait list. Registration and toilets are inside the Bridge of Orchy Hotel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
