Run Scotland Rannoch Marathon 2026
The Run Scotland Rannoch Marathon follows an accurately measured, chip-timed road course that runs along the north and south shores of Loch Rannoch. The event has a history dating back to the 1980s when the course hosted the Scottish Championships and was revived in 2015. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and each entry may include an optional race T-shirt.
The course profile is undulating and the surface is road, with traffic-free sections. Minimum age for entry is 17. Race headquarters and registration are at Weller Poley Park, Kinloch Rannoch, Pitlochry PH16 5PY. Facilities on the day include bag drop, toilets on course and at the finish, parking at Weller Poley Park, first aid provision, and refreshments. Water stations are provided every three miles and distance markers are placed every mile.
