Altra Kielder Marathon Weekend
The Altra Kielder Marathon Weekend is a multi-event running festival set around Kielder Water in Northumberland. The main marathon follows an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake and serves as the finale to a weekend of races.
The weekend comprises several race options and supporting services. All finishers receive a medal and a goody bag. The event provides a free park and ride system for runners and offers spectator passes priced at £3 with shuttle buses to multiple vantage points on the route. Other on-site facilities include a secure baggage drop, local produce and refreshments, and prizes for the top three male and female finishers plus first placed V40, V50 and V60 competitors.

Events are staged at Kielder Forest Park, Hexham NE48 1BT, with accommodation and visitor facilities available in and around Kielder Water and the wider Northumberland countryside.
