The Inflatable 5K in Newcastle, Northumberland on Saturday 22 August 2026 is an outdoor inflatable obstacle-course event. The course uses giant inflatable obstacles, slides and tunnels spread across looped laps. The event includes music zones, event photography, medical cover and a free spectator area. On-course hydration is provided and food and drink vendors will be on site.
The event offers several looped distance options. Each 2.5k lap repeats the same obstacles, so longer distances consist of multiple laps.
- 2.5k, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k, 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Participants receive a finisher's medal, a goodie bag and a post-run drink. Children aged 5 to 15 may take part but must be accompanied by a paying participating adult at a maximum ratio of three children to one adult. Adult entries are for ages 16 and over.
Practical information for the day includes a recommended arrival 30 to 45 minutes before the participant start time, paid parking at £5 per car, bag drop at £3 per bag with size limits and searches, and a no-dogs policy.
