The Inflatable 5K at Newcastle Racecourse, High Gosforth Park, is an inflatable obstacle course event with looped distances and multiple amenities. The course is built as a 2.5k lap and offers four distance options: 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k. Each lap repeats the same inflatable obstacles.
Distances and obstacles:
- 2.5k, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k, 6 laps, 90 obstacles
The event features giant inflatable elements including slides and tunnels, plus five music zones around the course. Participants receive a finisher's medal, a goodie bag and a post run drink. Water is available at a midway station. Food and drink vendors and toilets are provided on site.
Entry and participant details note age and group rules. Adults are classed as 16 and over. Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult at a maximum ratio of three children per adult. Dogs are not permitted. Spectators may use designated spectator areas only.
Practical information includes paid parking at £5 per car, a £3 bag drop with size limits and searches for safety, and a requirement to present printed or screenshot e-tickets with screen dark mode off.
