Event overview
The Inflatable 5K Obstacle Course takes place at Newcastle Racecourse, High Gosforth Park, Newcastle upon Tyne (NE3 5HP) on Saturday 22 August 2026. The course is made of inflatable obstacles arranged on a 2.5 km lap. The 5 km option uses two laps; other distances use repeat laps. The event includes multiple named inflatable obstacles such as Start Mountain, The Crawler, Holy Moly, Swing Shot, The Vortex and others. The course features five music zones and the organiser added three new obstacles for the 5 km layout, bringing that distance to 30 obstacles.

- 2.5 km - 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5 km - 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10 km - 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15 km - 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Children aged 5 to 15 must be accompanied by a paying participating adult with a maximum 3:1 child-to-adult ratio. Adults are classed as 16 and over. Parking is charged at £5 per car and bag drop costs £3 per bag; toilets are provided on site. Dogs are not allowed. Water is available at a drink station midway on the route. Spectators may watch from designated areas at no extra charge. Group and family discounts are offered, and charities can apply for discounted tickets.
