Event overview
The 2026 KID Hero 5K Run/Walk is the 22nd annual edition of the event. It is a 5K offered as an in-person race at Vista View Park in Davie and as a virtual option on January 31, 2026. The event is presented by UKG and hosted by the KID Auxiliary. The event tagline is "Be A Hero. Make KID Possible!"
Registration and fees
In-person registration is available with tiered pricing: $35 (standard), $20 for ages 7–12, and $35 for ages 13–100. A virtual participation option is listed at $35. A Supporter / Cheerleader registration that provides a T-shirt only is priced at $20. In-person and virtual registration close on January 31, 2026; the Supporter registration closes on January 30, 2026.
