2027 KID Hero 5K Run/Walk
The event is the 23rd annual KID Hero 5K Run/Walk held on February 6, 2027 at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. The in-person event includes opening ceremonies, a group warm up, a kids zone called Heroes in Training HQ, a vendor village, a post event Hero Fest with breakfast, and post-race awards. Costumes are encouraged.
Registrations support two nonprofit partners, Kids In Distress and Family Central. The organizations together serve more than 20,000 children and families each year.
Registration options and fees listed by the organizer include:
- 5K in-person run/walk : $35.00
- 5K virtual adults : $30.00
- 5K virtual kids : $15.00
- Supporter/Cheerleader T shirt only : $20.00
In-person participant registration includes an event T shirt, a chip-timed race bib, and a finisher medal when available. Finisher medals are available in limited quantities and are not guaranteed for all participants. Virtual participants may complete the 5K in their own community.
