Event Overview
The Rotary Club of Weston's 29th Annual Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Run for Tomorrow takes place in Weston, Florida. This athletic and community gathering combines several competitive running distances with a health-oriented festival. The primary activities are centered around Cypress Bay High School, which serves as the location for various starting and finishing lines.
Participants can choose from a variety of distances:
- Half Marathon (21K)
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Family Walk
The course for the 10K begins at the intersection of Bonaventure Boulevard and Vista Park Boulevard, while the Half Marathon and 5K start directly in front of Cypress Bay High School. All three timed races conclude at the high school location.
Registered runners for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon receive a package that includes a premium material shirt, a finisher medal, and a goodie bag. Medals are also awarded to top performers across multiple age categories. On the day of the event, a complimentary breakfast buffet is provided for runners.
In addition to the races, the Fitness, Health & Fun Festival features over 50 activity booths. This festival includes obstacle courses for children and adults, a dunk tank, live bands, and a DJ. Parking for the event is free of charge.
