KID-FIT Family Fun Run 5K
The KID-FIT Family Fun Run takes place on 05/16/2026 at Legg Lake at Whittier Narrows (Parking Lot D), 750 Santa Anita Ave, South El Monte, CA 91733. The event is organized for families and local students and includes both on-site and virtual options.
The main on-site road course is a USATF certified and sanctioned 5K with a flat layout. The site also offers a trail area suitable for a slower, recreational walk. Separate youth age groups are included and cash prizes are awarded to each youth age group as well as to the fastest team.
A short 1K race is provided for younger children; participating children receive a real medal. A virtual 5K option is available for remote participants, allowing the 5K distance to be completed off-site.
