About the Event
Kicking PancreAS 5K Quebec is an inclusive community run and walk held at Parc Angrignon in Montreal. This 5 km event is designed for participants of all abilities, allowing them to complete the distance at their own pace. The initiative supports pancreatic cancer awareness, patient support, and Canadian medical research through fundraising efforts for the Craigs Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society.
Participants are encouraged to wear purple clothing and glow-in-the-dark gear, with costumes also being welcomed. The course remains open for a total of 90 minutes.
Registration categories include:
- 5 km Individual
- 5 km Team
- 5 km Family Rate (3 to 5 members)
- 5 km Youth Rate (ages 18 and under)
Registered participants receive a finisher medal, a running bib, and event swag. Race kit pickup begins on-site one hour before the race starts. There is no onsite registration available, and capacity is limited to 450 participants across the different categories. The event focuses on gathering friends and colleagues to contribute to a collective fundraising goal to improve outcomes for those impacted by the disease.
