BougeBouge Marathon and Verdun Festival 2026
The event takes place in Verdun at Grand Potager, Montreal. The route runs along the riverside bike path and offers several certified distances sanctioned by athletics federations.
Distances offered include:
- 42.2 km marathon in 4 loops of 10.55 km each
- 21.1 km half marathon in 2 loops
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km
- 1 km
The event is sanctioned Gold by Athletics Quebec and the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km courses are certified by Athletics Canada. The marathon is recognized as a Boston Marathon qualifying event. Timing is provided by Sportstats and results are classified by age categories.
The festival program features family activities such as inflatable games, a circus performance, a food truck, a dance workshop, a construction workshop and a collective painting workshop. On-site services include aid stations, toilets along the course, a checkroom next to the volunteer tent (one bag per person) and athlete massages.
Registration and logistics details note bib pickup on the days before the event at MAXI, 6767 boul. Newman, Lasalle. Standard finish medals are given to all finishers; personalized medals must be ordered online before the registration deadline, and will be distributed at bib pickup.
