BougeBouge Marathon and Verdun Festival
The BougeBouge Marathon and Verdun Festival takes place on 13 September 2026 in Verdun, Montreal. The running course follows the riverside bike path and is based around the Piste de danse de l'îlot John-Gallagher.

The 42.2 km is four loops and the 21.1 km is two loops. The event is sanctioned Gold by Athletics Quebec; the 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km and 42.2 km distances are certified by Athletics Canada. The marathon is recognized as a Boston Marathon qualifying race. Timing is provided by Sportstats and results are sorted by age category.
On-site festival activities include inflatable games, circus performances, food trucks, dance and construction workshops, collective painting, musical performances, a Pilates session, a Try-It-All Circus and athlete massage services. Bib pick-up and new registrations take place at MAXI, 6767 boul. Newman, LaSalle, on 11 and 12 September 2026. Medals must be picked up at bib collection during the event; unclaimed medals will be recycled. Course cut-offs and a minimum pace are enforced for safety and event management.
