2027 Kettle Krush 5K
The Kettle Krush 5K is a community running event held May 15, 2027, at Mt Bethel Church in Marietta, Georgia. This is the 13th annual Kettle Krush and it raises funds for the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary to support efforts addressing poverty, homelessness, human trafficking, veterans services, and youth enrichment in metro Atlanta.
The event program includes several distance options and a non-running donation category. Entry options and fees listed by the organizer include:
- 5K run/walk for individuals
- 1K run/walk for ages 6 and over
- Tot Trot for ages 5 and under
- Phantom or donation entry that includes a race T-shirt
Registered participants are eligible for awards. The 5K has awards for first overall and masters winners by sex, and kettle medals for the top three male and female finishers in 16 age categories ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over. Medals are also planned for 5K and 1K race day participants; Tot Trot participants receive ribbons.
Team competition prizes are planned for the team with the most participants, with a minimum team size of 10, across categories for individual, school, business, church, and running club teams. Bib and T-shirt pickup is offered at a local running store prior to the event and on race day.
