2026 Kettle Krush 5K

The Kettle Krush 5K returns to Marietta, Georgia, for its 12th annual edition. This community event is organized by the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary to support various social causes in metro Atlanta, including initiatives to address poverty, homelessness, and human trafficking, as well as programs for veterans and youth enrichment. The event takes place at Mt Bethel Church on Roswell Road.

Participants can choose from several event distances and categories:

  • 5 km (runners and walkers)
  • 1 km (ages 6 and over)
  • Tot Trot (ages 5 and under)

The course is open to individual participants and teams. A team competition is held for groups with at least 10 members, with categories for schools, businesses, churches, running clubs, and individuals. For those who wish to support the cause without participating in the physical race, a "Phantom" registration option is available, which includes a race t-shirt.

Top performers in the 5 km event receive awards for first overall and masters male and female winners. Additionally, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers across 16 different age categories, ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over. All race day participants in the 5 km and 1 km events receive medals, while those in the Tot Trot receive ribbons. Early bib and t-shirt collection is available at a local running store in the days leading up to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
