About the race
Kettering Half Marathon & 5K takes place on 14 March 2027 at Wicksteed Park in Kettering (NN15 6NJ). The event offers two distances and starts and finishes at Wicksteed Park.

The course is on closed roads and is described as undulating, with an overall elevation gain of 182 m. The half marathon route passes through Kettering town centre, the grounds of Boughton House, and quiet country lanes before returning to Wicksteed Park.
Entries include a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies, and a bag drop. There will be an event village with food and drink and finish-line refreshments. Parking at Wicksteed Park is limited and paid on site.
On-course provisions for the half marathon include three water stations and portable toilets approximately halfway along the route. The 5K route does not pass a water station. There is a 3 hour cut-off time on the half marathon due to road closures. Minimum ages are 17 years for the half marathon and 11 years for the 5K.
Accessibility information notes that buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome. Dogs are not allowed for runners or spectators. The event supports Kettering Mind as a charity partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
