ATW Oundle Triathlon

ATW Oundle Children’s Triathlon

The event is held at Oundle School and uses an indoor 50m pool followed by bike and run laps on the school grounds. Each child is individually chip timed and seeded for the swim using a predicted swim time. The swim is run as a snake swim in the 50m pool. Transition takes place on grass. Bike laps are completed on smooth grass playing fields with 2 km laps and an 800 m cut off for the Tristart category. Run laps are 600 m on a tarmac path around the tennis courts. The event finishes on the playing fields where finishers receive a medal, water and goodies.

All competitors must provide their own helmet and bike. Entry fees range from £19 to £27. The event lists the following concrete features: well marked course, marshals, spectator friendly layout, free event photos, custom medal, and finish line snacks.

A charity partner is named and opportunities to donate and fundraise are available. Transfers to another ATW event are allowed up to 48 hours before the event; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered. • Tristart (8 years): 50m swim, 800m bike, 600m run
• Tristar1 (9-10 years): 150m swim, 2km bike, 1.2km run
• Tristar2 (11-12 years): 200m swim, 4km bike, 1.8km run
• Tristar3 (13-14 years): 300m swim, 6km bike, 2.4km run
• Youth (15-16 years): 400m swim, 8km bike, 3km run
