Entry, awards and extras
Distance: 5K
Multiple registration categories are offered, including youth and virtual divisions, a pet entry, and a CrossFit Pump Challenge and Run. Age-group categories for awards include 5-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80+. Top three in each age group receive hand-carved medallions; top overall winners receive medallions and gift-card prizes. The Pump Challenge asks participants to bench press a percentage of body weight (male 75%, female 50%) for maximum repetitions; each repetition reduces the 5K time by 10 seconds for Pump-Challenge scoring. Team Captain Challenge goals and fundraising recognitions are part of the event. Packet pick-up is available the Friday before at the Feet First sponsor location and on race day at St. John's. Registration fees vary by category and change before the event; youth and pet pricing are listed separately. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
