2026 Barlowe Bolt

The Barlowe Bolt returns for its 14th annual edition in Millersville, Maryland. The event takes place in a suburban setting and features a course that consists of a mix of flat sections and hilly roads. The route is characterized by mature trees throughout the town and includes a water station located at the 1.5 mile marker.

The event offers two registration categories:

Running-5K
Walking-1 Mile

Participants in the 5K category receive chip timing for their performance. Awards in the form of medals are provided for the top male and female finishers within each designated age group. The organizers monitor the course for a set duration following the start of the activities.

Logistics for the event include packet pick-up options held the evening before at 5 Peaks Martial Arts Academy, as well as on-site registration the day of the race. Parking is available at the Old Mill Shopping Center or on various neighborhood streets surrounding the Olde Mill Pool. Participants who register by February 23 are provided with an event shirt.
