B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon : Severna Park, MD

The event on March 29, 2026 offers two distances along the B&A Trail and begins and finishes at Severna Park High School (60 Robinson Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146). The course runs about two miles on residential streets with the remainder on the asphalt B&A Trail. There is one significant hill on both the Marathon and the Half Marathon.

The Marathon and the Half Marathon are USATF certified; the Marathon course is a Boston qualifier. Aid stations provide water and Gatorade; additional Marathon-only stations also offer gel packets, Vaseline, and band aids. Porta-potties are placed at specific aid stations and restrooms are available near the ranger station on the Marathon-only portion.

Packet pickup is available on Saturday, March 28 at the high school and on race morning at the venue. Race day registration is not available. The Marathon has a 5 hour 30 minute course time limit; an early-start option exists but early starters are not eligible for awards. There is no time limit for the Half Marathon.

All finishers receive a commemorative medal. Awards are presented to male and female overall winners, masters winners, and age-group leaders; no cash prizes are offered. Each participant receives a Frank Shorter quarter zip and a Maryland-flag cap. No bag drop is provided; parking is available in school lots and nearby streets.
