The Kennett Run is a community road race held in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Events start and finish at Anson B. Nixon Park, and proceeds are invested in Southern Chester County nonprofits. The event marks the 36th year of the Kennett Run Charities.

Course information: all courses begin and end within Anson B. Nixon Park. The 5K and 10K routes combine hills and flat sections with an easy downhill finish; roughly 70% of these courses are on Kennett Square main streets and 30% on park trails, roads, and the park access road. The 10K is two laps of the 5K course. The 1 mile is flat for the first half then includes a couple of moderate hills. The kids course is flat around the ponds.
Logistics and other notes: packet pickup is available at the Kennett YMCA the day before the race and on race day at the start/finish area. T shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before April 21, 2026. A post-race party at Anson B. Nixon Park features food and beverages, including beer for those 21 and over. Parking at the park is limited on a first-come basis; shuttle buses run from Kennett High School and other lots. Unregistered entrants, runners with dogs or strollers, rollerblading, bicycling, and wearing headphones are prohibited on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
