Kendra's Race Triathlon and 5k
Kendra's Race takes place on 11/15/2026 in Lot 6, Goleta, California, and is organized by the UCSB Triathlon Team. The event program includes collegiate and age group sprint triathlon races, a relay division, and a recreational 5k run.

Registration opens on 9/11/2026 and closes on 11/15/2026. Entry fees vary by event and range from $30 to $125.
Course details are specified for each discipline. The swim starts at Campus Point with an out 200 m, a 400 m leg, and a 200 m return to shore, then a wooden stair climb to transition on Anacapa Lawn. The bike consists of two laps on a circuit that includes technical bike path sections and more open stretches along Lagoon Road, Los Carneros, Hollister Avenue, Fairview Avenue, and the Obern bike path. The run is a single rolling loop of approximately 5k along the UCSB lagoon on paved and hard packed trails, passes an aid station, and finishes in Lot 6.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Goleta Trek the day before and race day packet pickup is available at Anacapa Lawn. A valid photo ID and a USAT membership number are required for same day registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
