Holiday 1/2 Marathon, Grinch 10K, 5K and 1 mile at Goleta Beach Park
The Holiday race day is scheduled for December 12, 2026 at Goleta Beach Park. Packet pickup occurs on race day from 7 to 9 am. All participants must register online; race day signups are not allowed.

The half marathon and 10K are out-and-back routes that begin at the west end of Goleta Beach Park and run along a dedicated bike and run path toward Santa Barbara. The courses are described as nearly flat and include a mix of paved bike path and a hard-packed soil creek path along Atascadero Creek. Both routes cross Patterson Avenue where volunteers will caution runners and vehicles. The half marathon uses the creek path outbound and the paved path inbound, with a turnaround at Puente Avenue and a second lap that passes the Park entrance bridge and a local rock feature before reaching the finish area on the beach.
The 5K is an out-and-back on the same bike path with a turnaround before Patterson Avenue. The 1-mile kids course stays inside Goleta Beach Park on the new walking path around picnic areas and the cliff overlook; parents are encouraged to run with children.
