HOKA Pacific Trails California by UTMB
HOKA Pacific Trails California by UTMB takes place at Rancho San Fernando Rey in the Santa Ynez Valley from 13 to 15 November 2026. The event is set on a private, preserved ranch that was previously closed to the public.
The courses run through a range of natural terrain: mountains, pastures, cliffs, vineyards, olive groves, creek and river crossings, and areas of serpentine rock. The property contains endemic Blue Oak Trees and the Santa Ynez River runs through the land. At the center of the property stands Loma Alta Mountain at 2,758 ft (840 meters), with views that include Cachuma Lake and surrounding valleys.
Rancho San Fernando Rey covers 30,000 acres and has more than 100 miles of roads and trails. The Start and Finish and the event basecamp are located in a rustic cattle ranch open barn surrounded by endemic oak trees. The courses cross the Santa Ynez Valley, an area long associated with the ancestral home of the Chumash Tribe.
Race offerings include:
- 50K - 51 km, 1,550 m elevation gain
- 25K - 25 km, 650 m elevation gain
UTMB Community Bibs are available as part of a charitable program connected to The IRONMAN Foundation. Half of the Community Bib registration costs go toward a local charity chosen by the race team. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
