Keiki Rainbow Run

Keiki Rainbow Run is a community fun run held at Kakaʻako Waterfront Park in Honolulu (102 Ohe St, Honolulu, HI 96813). The on-course distance for participants is 1.3 Miles.

The event has three participant categories with separate registration windows and fees: keiki (ages 5–12), other family members (ages 13 and up), and little runners (age 4 and younger or those using strollers). Registration opens 11/8/2026; registration deadlines vary by category. Reported registration fees by category are $25 for keiki and $15 for other family members and little runners. Keiki aged 8 and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Registration items vary by category. Keiki registrations include a running bib, a finisher t-shirt, snacks, and free participation in post-run wellness activities called the Wellness Fair and Active Zone. Other family members receive a running bib only. Little runners receive a running bib, finisher t-shirt, and snacks.

The event limits total participation to 1,600 people and does not offer same-day registration. Schools that register and meet the minimum participation requirement can receive funds for physical education and nutrition programs; qualifying schools earn $10 per participating student when at least 10 students participate. If the run is canceled for reasons such as inclement weather, child entries are donated to the designated school and adult entry fees are donated to support the next year’s event.
