Hawaii Kai Mile, October 25, 2026
The Hawaii Kai Mile is the fifth edition of a one-mile road race presented by Hawaii Running Lab in Honolulu. The course begins at the intersection of Hawaii Kai Drive and Lunalilo Home Road and finishes in front of Kaiser High School.
The event offers age group awards for children in three-year blocks and adult age group awards with prizes for the top three finishers in each category. A team competition returns with a prize pool funded by taking one dollar from each registration; that pool is awarded to the team, organization, school, church, club, or family that registers the most runners. The organizer notes an example where 300 registrations would create a 300 dollar prize pool.
Registration includes race entry, a finisher medal, and post-race snacks. Special pricing applies to participants under 17 and to active duty US Military. Participants may link their registration to Strava. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
