Keel Farms Christmas Wine Run 5K
The Keel Farms Christmas Wine Run is a chip timed 5K held at Keel and Curley Winery in Plant City, Florida on the weekend of December 12–13, 2026. The event starts and finishes at the winery and follows a scenic two-loop tour of the farm.
The route combines grass, dirt, gravel and paved sections and includes several turns that run through blueberry rows and farm areas. The ground can be muddy and the course is not optimized for personal records. Runners and walkers are both welcome.
Registration includes a ring spun cotton T-shirt, a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal, a race bib for chip timing, online results, and a pour of wine. Minors may participate with a discounted registration that includes a shirt, medal and bib; those minors do not receive a wine glass or a pour. Strollers are permitted but not recommended because of uneven ground; children in strollers may participate without registering.
The event partners with Florida Giant Dog Rescue. Age group awards are offered for top finishers in ten age categories spanning 19 and under through 80 and over, with custom awards for the top three in each category. Packet pickup is scheduled at the winery the day before the event and on race day at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
