Katie's Run 5K Run/Walk
Katie's Run 5K Run/Walk is a community race held in New Hyde Park, presented in memory of Katie and to support the Katie McBride Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the listed event date. The event is held rain or shine.

- Children's Fun Run free after the race, no registration required
Event features include a premium t-shirt for online registrants, chip timing for the 5K, and personalized bibs for those who register by June 7. A post-race BBQ celebration with live entertainment takes place in Memorial Park; a BBQ only option is available for a fee. Raffle tickets are sold for additional fundraising.
Awards recognize overall top finishers and masters, and age group awards are given across multiple brackets from 10 & under through 80 plus. Additional awards include top student and local resident recognitions.
Packet pickup is available the day before at the rear entrance of New Hyde Park Funeral Home and on race day at the same location; early pickup entries are eligible for a separate raffle prize. The 5K course is USATF certified. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
