Kat'cina Mosa 100K Mountain Run
The event is a 100 kilometer loop through the Wasatch Mountains above Provo, Utah, with a start/finish area near Springville and Right Fork Hobble Creek Road. The organizer describes the course as very challenging and scenic and notes that about 42% of the route follows the same terrain as the Squaw Peak 50 but run in the opposite direction. Shared sections include Mile 2.1, Pole Heaven to Mile 16.27, Rock Canyon, and from just past Big Springs at Mile 24 to Mile 38.5 at Little Valley.
The surface composition is listed as 48% dirt trail, 44% dirt road, and 8% paved. Total elevation gain is over 15,000 feet with a corresponding loss of about 15,000 feet.
