Hobbler Half Marathon
The Hobbler event includes a half marathon, a 5k, and a kids marathon held in Springville, Utah at Springville High School and finishing inside Arts Park. This is the 16th annual running of the Hobbler races.
The half marathon course is described as mostly downhill. The start line begins up the left fork of Hobble Creek Canyon, the route loops around Springville City, and the finish is inside Arts Park. The race is chip timed for accuracy.
Postrace offerings include food, music, and entertainment at the finish area. All race participants receive athletic shirts. All half marathon finishers receive custom finisher medals, and the top three winners in each age division receive placement medals.
Prizes are offered for top finishers. Overall half marathon winners, male and female, receive $150; second and third place half marathon finishers receive $75 and $50 respectively. Overall 5k winners, male and female, receive $50.
