Juneteenth on the Shore: Community 5K
Juneteenth on the Shore is a community-centered 5K held on June 19, 2026 at Salisbury City Park Bandstand in Salisbury, MD. The event brings together movement, history, and community to honor freedom. Participants may walk or run and the course is professionally timed so individuals can move at their own pace.
The event emphasizes youth participation. Youth up to age 24 can earn free registration by attending a qualifying community partner event before June 15. Participants aged 13 to 24 are eligible for two cash prizes of $500 each; winners will be announced at the close of the 5K.
All registered participants receive a race bib, an official event t-shirt, and post-run lunch. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.
