Juneteenth March 4M Run/Walk/Roll
The Juneteenth March 4M Run/Walk/Roll is staged in Central Park with Race Central at the Naumburg Bandshell and is held rain or shine. Registration is not yet open; organizers indicate registration will open ahead of the event. An informal bag check, vendors, music, live results, and free photos are listed among the event amenities.
The course is a USATF certified 4 mile route. The route begins on East Drive, continues with a left onto 102nd Street crossing, then a left onto West Drive heading south, and a final left onto Terrace Drive to the finish. Participants are asked to walk approximately ten minutes to the start area on East Drive; announcements will be made when it is time to proceed and the event advises staying alert to race-day instructions.
Logistics include a staffed water station at Mile 2 and additional hydration at the finish. Bib pickup is available from event staff starting one hour before the event; registering three weeks in advance allows for a personalized bib. A bib number is required for pickup and last-minute registrants within 24 hours will receive a bib number by text.
All proceeds from the Juneteenth March support the building fund of the Harlem Center, a 20,000 square foot community center that hosts services from 30+ community based organizations across the five boroughs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
