Juneteenth March 4M Run/Walk/Roll
This event is a USATF certified four mile run, walk, and roll hosted in Central Park with Race Central at the Naumburg Bandshell. The event runs rain or shine and includes vendors, music, live results, and free finish-line photos.
The course begins on East Drive, turns left onto 102nd Street, crosses and turns left onto West Drive heading south, and finishes after a final left onto Terrace Drive. Participants should expect an approximately ten minute walk to the start line on East Drive; announcements will be made when it is time to proceed and participants are asked to avoid using headphones so they can hear important instructions.
A staffed water station is provided at Mile 2, with additional hydration at the finish. An informal bag check is available; participants are advised to pack light because the event is not responsible for lost or stolen items and unclaimed items will be donated.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event. Registrants who sign up at least three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib. A bib number is required for pickup; last-minute registrants within 24 hours can receive their bib number by text shortly after registering.
All proceeds from the Juneteenth March support the building fund for the Harlem Center, a 20,000 square foot community center serving 30+ community based organizations across the five boroughs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
