Juneteenth March 4M Run/Walk/Roll
The event is a community 4 Mile run, walk, and roll held in Central Park with Race Central at the Naumburg Bandshell and proceeds directed to the Harlem Center building fund. The course is USATF certified and follows a route that starts on East Drive, turns onto 102nd Street crossing, continues on West Drive heading south, and finishes on Terrace Drive. Participants should expect to walk about ten minutes to the start area on East Drive and to listen for announcements on race morning.
On-course support includes a staffed water station at Mile 2 and additional hydration at the finish area. Race-day amenities listed by the organizer include an informal bag check (participants are advised to pack light and keep valuables on their person), vendors, music, live results, and free photos. Bib procedures note that a personalized bib is available for those who register three weeks in advance, a bib number is required for pickup, and last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text within about 90 seconds. The event is held rain or shine. The beneficiary, Harlem Center, is described as a 20,000 square foot community facility hosting services from more than 30 community based organizations across the five boroughs.
