Event Details
JuJu's Dino Dash is a running event held in North Olmsted, Ohio, at Drive Morris Stadium (27301 Butternut Ridge Rd). The event includes two distances: a 5K and a 1 Mile, both of which can be run or walked. The 5K is chip-timed using MyLaps BibTag, while the 1 Mile is untimed.
For Participants
A free Kid's Dash for children aged 8 and under is offered before the main events. Dressing like a dinosaur is encouraged for all participants.
Registration opens at $35 per person for both distances, with a family rate available for groups of 3-8 living at the same address offering a $5 discount per member. Race-day registration increases to $40. Pre-registration includes a commemorative race t-shirt, guaranteed for those registered by a certain date, and a custom dinosaur rubber bracelet for the first 800 participants to pick up their packets. Post-race snacks and refreshments are provided, and there are raffle prizes available.
The event's proceeds support student scholarships and youth initiatives in the community. Awards are given to the top five male and female overall runners in the 5K.
Logistics
Packet pickup and race-day registration begin at the North Olmsted football stadium. There is also an early packet pickup scheduled at a Dick's Sporting Goods location on a Thursday prior to the event. A course map is available online.
