Event overview
The 3rd Annual White Squirrel Trot in Oberlin, Ohio is a community running and walking event held November 26–29, 2026. The event uses Tappan Square in downtown Oberlin (77 W College St) as the start and finish area. Distances and participation options include:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Walk
- Virtual entry with mailed packet
- Volunteer option (open to ages 14+)
Each registered participant will receive a 2025 White Squirrel medal (limited edition). Early registrants are eligible to choose between a tech or cotton long-sleeve event shirt. Shirts registered for after November 23 are available first-come, first-served while supplies last.
Logistics and awards
Early packet pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25 at White Squirrel Clayworks studio, 12013 Leavitt Rd, Oberlin. Day-of registration is offered for an additional fee.
The event includes finish-line awards. Categories listed are first overall Female and Male; first overall Masters (age 40+) Female and Male; and age-group awards for the top three female and male finishers in these age groups: 10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
