White Squirrel Trot 3rd Annual : Oberlin, OH
The event is a community Thanksgiving Turkey Trot in Oberlin offering a 5K Run/Walk and a 1 Mile Fun Walk. The course begins and finishes at Tappan Square in downtown Oberlin and is organized to bring friends and family together and build community.

Each participant receives a handmade 2025 stoneware pottery White Squirrel medal. Participants who register early also receive a choice of a tech or cotton long sleeve event shirt; registrations after November 23 will receive shirts only while supplies last. In-person and day of registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or medal.
Early packet pick-up and in-person registration are scheduled the day before the event at the White Squirrel Clayworks studio. A virtual participation option is offered with mailed race packets for those who will not attend in person. Awards are presented on a rolling basis after the finish and include first overall female and male, first overall masters age 40 plus female and male, and age group awards to the top three female and male in standard age brackets from 10 and under through 70 and over.
